Position: Software Engineer (Dot Net Developer)
Role & Responsibilities
* Work with a team of developers and analysts to support and enhance existing applications and plan for the future using modern architecture, patterns, technologies and best practices
* Develop technical requirements for selected projects
* Design processes, procedures, applications, databases and/or other data structures to meet the business needs identified in base-lined requirements.
* Develop and maintain system architecture diagrams.
* Develop object oriented structures to security standards and validations
* Validate system requirements with the appropriate functional and technical groups to ensure that the project scope is understood and that the technical infrastructure that is in place will support the project
* Perform unit testing to ensure accurate execution of each component.
* Perform programming adjustments as necessary to ensure system performance and accuracy
* Perform defect correction and appropriate regression testing of the application
* Maintain existing web sites and applications
* Evaluate existing applications for vulnerabilities
Skills Required
* Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College or University in computer science, mathematics, or engineering or an applicable training certificate from an accredited institution
* 1-3 years of intensive and progressive experience in a computer related field including development and design of software systems and WEB development
* PROGRAMMING/API/FRAMEWORKS: Good programming skills in Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0, ASP.Net, ADO.Net, C#, IIS
* PLATFORMS: Windows, Windows Mobile
* DATABASE: SQL Server, Transact SQL, Oracle, Stored Procedures
* REPORTING: SQL Server Reporting Services
* SOURCE CONTROL: Team Foundation Server
* IDE: Microsoft Visual Studio 2008/2010
* Experience in a Microsoft SharePoint 2007/2010 environment with both out-of-the box and custom versions of the following: design, creation and implementation of Web Parts; .NET user controls; Master Pages; CSS; Layouts; Event Handlers; Templates; other features/solutions
* Responsible for integrating non-SharePoint related services into SharePoint applications as needed
* Experienced in writing secured code and must be aware of .NET framework security best practices
* Develop mainly Web applications and some Windows application
* Working knowledge of operating systems, web systems & Windows Mobile
* Creative and pragmatic problem solver
* Professional, team player with strong interpersonal skills
* Ability to solicit and incorporate diverse perspectives
* Organized and able to act independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining an attention to detail
* Good verbal and written communication
Experience: 1 - 4 Years
